August 2014 Stitch Fix

9/12/14

You know you are behind in blogging when you are about to get your September Stitch Fix, and you still haven’t posted about your August Stitch Fix 😉 So better late than never, here it is!

1) Alena Lace Detailed Dress by C. Luce ($74)

I LOVED this dress.  I actually wore it a few days later to a wedding in the mountains.  Plus–this dress is not dry clean only!

2) Lydia Faceted Stones Long Necklace by Pixley ($38)

This month my stylist chose pieces for me to encourage trying something new.  I normally wear silver, but decided to keep this necklace to mix things up : )

3) Tessa Chevron Print Sleeveless Blouse by Papermoon ($44)

I loved the fit of this shirt.  I’ll be honest, the print is not something I normally would have picked out on my own.  I did take the advice of my stylist and paired it with some trousers for work (with a cardigan of course) and got several compliments.  Look at me getting out of my little clothing box!
4)  Corinna Striped Heathered Dolman Top by Market and Spruce ($48)
This shirt was super comfy and I cannot wait to pair it with some leggings!  I normally am not a huge fan of the dolman tops, but this one’s sleeves are not as droopy as other dolman tops I have tried on.
5)  Brandi Open Front Cardigan by Hourglass Lilly ($38)
Please ignore the wrinkles : )  I did not realize how wrinkled it was
until I uploaded this, and now the shirt is in the laundry, haha.
The material of this cardigan feels awesome!  And it will be great for gamedays!
I ended up keeping all five of my Stitch Fix items, so I received 25% off.   Can’t wait to get my next month’s!

Hi I'm Jess, and I call the Rocket City (Huntsville, AL) home! While I'm not doing my 8-5, you can find me hanging out with my lab mix Riley or starting a craft or project (sometimes multiple) around the house. I'm always doing my best to stay active and try new things. Hopefully you will stick around for the ride!
