I’ve been obsessed with hose wreaths for a while now. I saw them on Pinterest a while back, and then started to see them on people’s doors. I originally wanted to have my hose wreath on my door on the first day of Spring, but life happens : )
The hardest part about this wreath was finding a cheap hose. Obviously, I didn’t need a nice hose, and I didn’t have any old ones lying around. I finally ending up getting a $11 one from Big Lots. I saw at Target this week they also have some on sale for $9. Mine was 60 feet, but I wish it was shorter since it is putting a little bit of strain on my wreath hanger. I found the little watering can at Hobby Lobby for about $5.50. They had a lot of fun colors such as green, blue, and pink. I wanted something that would pop against the green hose. I left one of the ties on the wreath to keep the hose held together, and just double tied around it the pink polka dot ribbon I found at Michaels for $4. Also, I threaded it through the handle of the watering can to hold it up. Originally, I wanted to add a cute little shovel and some flowers, but I ended up liking the simplicity of just the fun ribbon and watering can.
For a little over $20, this wreath was easy peasy : )
Thanks for stopping by!
