Time for my monthly Stitch Fix review! If you read my last month’s review, you will be happy to hear that I did not receive skinny jeans in this fix : ) For any readers who have are wanting to find out more about Stitch Fix, check out my first post about it here. North Alabama had a crazy wind chill of around 5 degrees today, so you’ll notice a change of scenery to inside for the pics. After last month’s fix, I requested my stylist to include some classic, conservative winter work clothes. Here we go!
1. Deva Cap Sleeve Mini Peplum Pleated Dress by Evolution ($58)
When I first pulled this cobalt blue dress out of the box, I was not too sure of it. I thought the little flaps were going to hit at the wrong spot. I was pleasantly surprised when it fit really well. This dress is a nice material and a very appropriate length for work. A keeper!

2. Aida Paisley Scoop Neck Blouse by Fun2Fun ($44)
I liked the fit and flowiness (yes, that is a word haha) of the shirt. But you know that saying, “It reminds me of my grandmother’s tablecloth?” Well the pattern of this shirt reminded me of luggage patterns from the late 1980s/early 1990s. And I could not stop thinking about that once it was in my head lol. Maybe if the pattern was in a different color if wouldn’t have bothered me as much? Anyway, I was on the fence about this one, but ultimately decided not to keep it.

3. Jessie Draped Front Terry Knit Cardigan by Loveappella ($64)
My stylist recommended pairing it with the two tanks included in my fix and jeans. Since I would more likely be wearing it to work, I paired it with black pants (plus I already had them on lol). I wear black cardigans a lot to work so I have very high standards for them. $64 is a little more than I normally pay. The material was a little more casual. The boyfriend and I discussed this cardigan for about five minutes. It was not fitted since it is supposed to be drapey, but then it does not seem drapey enough. Almost like it is in an awkward in between if that makes sense. I decided not to keep it.

4. Kaitland Spade Charm Long Necklace by Pixley ($36)
You may have noticed that this necklace made an appearance in the picture above. My stylist recommended I wear it with the blouse and cardigan to break things up. I liked that it is simple; however, I received a similar necklace with burgundy stones in a previous fix and have not worn it. So I decided not to keep it.
5. Astor Ruffle Front Tank by 41 Hawthorn ($54)
I was really excited when I saw the shirt–LOVE the little ruffles. It is very soft and drapes well. A little more pricey than I normally pay, but I really liked it. Because of the ruffles, it is hand wash…sigh. Another Keeper!
I was very excited to keep two items from this month’s Stitch Fix and am looking forward to next months. I really enjoyed getting some fun work clothes and requested more in my next fix. If you are interested in trying out Stitch Fix, be sure to sign up here.
