October 2015 Stitch Fix

10/1/15

Can you believe it is already October?!?  Today I can officially put out my Halloween decorations.  I’m pretty excited seeing all of these cute home fall tours all over blogland, but I never myself decorate for fall because I truthfully am lazy and I do not want to have to store more things 😉  Anyway, back to the reason  we’re here, my October 2015 Stitch Fix or my 15th Stitch Fix!  For any readers who are wanting to find out more about Stitch Fix, check out my first post about it here.

1.  Nerbi Lace Sleeve Keyhole Back Knit Top by Loveappella ($58)—Returned

The Nerbi Lace Sleeve Keyhold Back Knit Top by Loveappella was a little expensive for my taste.  I was not a fan of the lace arms, plus they were snug and an awkward length.  On the bright side, the middle fabric was very soft, and the keyhole in the back was cute.

2.  Alan French Terry Asymmetrical Zip Cardigan by Market & Spruce ($68)—Kept!

I had actually  pinned the Alan French Terry Asymmetrial Zip Cardigan by Market & Spruce to my Pinterest Style board, and my stylist Molly saw it and included in this fix.  This is a thicker cardigan, and I like that you can wear it both open and zipped.   The cardigan was a little on the pricey side for me, but I decided to keep it since it was different than anything I currently have.

3.  Jovani Twill Jacket by Latte ($98)—Returned

In my note to my stylist for this fix, I asked for the Chaplin Anorak  that I kept seeing on Pinterest.  Unfortunately, it has been so popular that it was out of stock in my size.  So my stylist sent me the Jovani Twill Jacket by Latte instead.  It ended up feeling bulky, and I did not like the way the front of the jacket made triangles at the bottom.

4.  Renesme Floral Faux Wrap Dress by BRIXON IVY ($78)—Kept!

When I pulled the Renesme Floral Faux Wrap Dress by BRIXON IVY, my first thought was that I did not need another wrap dress.  Then I realized it had 3/4 length sleeves and fit very well.

5.  Carillon Knit Top  by Papermoon ($48)—Returned

The Carillon Knit Top by Papermoon is similar to a few past shirts that I have received and returned.  I believe the price is high for such a basic shirt, although it was comfortable.  I also did not like the bright neon stripes or the pattern detail on the V-neck.

I absolutely LOVE the cardigan! I’ve never seen one that you can zip like that and it’s super cute open or zipped. The jacket is too big, but I like that style. The right coat will be awesome on you!

PS. I probably need to join Stitch Fix because I get so excited to see what you get each month. Such great clothes!

Love that Loveappella top! I think I’ll ask to try that with my next Fix. I have Molly as my stylist too – she’s great!

I LOVE the army green jacket you recieved. I also got the black/grey lace sleeved keyhole sweater. I thought it was going to be amazing by the way it felt Its not flattering on at all around my midsection it is awkward. I love the grey side zip sweatshirt you got as well. I have had mixed results with stitchfix my last fix was a HIT this current one was terrible and so exspensive. Im really disappointed in some aspects I loved a navy vest and was emailed a picture of it. I immediately contacted the stylist I had been working with to be told that I couldnt have it right nnow and I could hold my fix but then I would loose the other items she thought were amazing for me. I ended up getting a vest that I have the exact one in every detail from oldnavy from last season I paid 15 dollars for it this vest they want $68 for. It goes gorgeous with a blouse they sent. After having a really bad one – a great one AMAZING actually and then another bomb im not sure what to do? I just had to say I LOVE that jacket Thats the style Im after. Great site. Best wishes 🙂

Hi April! I feel like my stitch fixes are sometimes hit or miss too. A lot of my friends think I’m too picky, but for the prices I believe it is justified. I just love getting the box every month!
