Yay for September being here! Just think, fall is around the corner…finally : ) I don’t know about where you live, but it has been hot this summer in north Alabama. Enough about the weather, today I am sharing with you my September 2015 Stitch Fix, or my fix #14. For this fix, I asked for casual, hanging out, and going out to dinner items. For any readers who are wanting to find out more about Stitch Fix, check out my first post about it here.
1. Spencer Striped Jersey Dress by Market & Spruce ($54)—Returned
The Spencer Striped Jersey Dress by Market & Spruce was super soft when I pulled it out of the box. The fit and pattern was great and as expected was very comfortable, but it was a little too short in the back for my age in my opinion, but maybe I am too conservative ; ). Sadly I returned this one. I’m afraid going up a size to make it longer in the back would make it too big.
2. Carmelita Crew Neck Blouse by 41Hawthorn ($54)—Returned
The Carmelita Crew Neck Blouse by 41Hawthorn was made out of a really weird texture. Once on, the arm holes were too big, and it was too short on the sides. This blouse definitely went back.
3. Kahlo Embroidered Solid Tank by Le Sample ($38)—Kept!
The Kahlo Embroidered Solid Tank by Le Sample was the first shirt in my box, and I was super excited because I had seen it a lot on Pinterest. Plus it was navy blue and mint! The tank was very comfortable and soft. Sorry for the wrinkles…and the paint covered yoga capris 😉
4. Lawford Knit Top by Market & Spruce ($58)—Returned
The Lawford Knit Top by Market & Spruce was actually a good fit and very soft. If it were not for the leather trim on the V-neck and the higher cost, I would have kept it.
5. Valerie Tie Wrap Knit Top by 41Hawthorn ($48)—Returned
The Valerie Tie Wrap Knit Top by 41 Hawthorn was cute on, but what you could not see was how tight it felt. Or how much it cut in at the armpits :/
Even though I only ended up keeping one item in this fix, I’m excited for next month’s fix. I asked for a specific jacket I saw on Pinterest and am looking forward to fall items 🙂
